AWANA Programs

The primary focus of the Awana Ministry at Temple Baptist Church, is to reach boys & girls with the gospel of Christ, and train them to serve Him. The Awana program has been going strong at Temple Baptist Church for 19+ years.

Salt and Light

The Salt & Light is an adult sunday school class started in 2001 by Steve Chavez. Our focus is to dig deeper into the word of God and apply what we learn to our daily lives. The name Salt and Light comes from the passage in Matthew Chapter 5 which talks about being salt and light to the world.

Missions (BMAA)

Temple Baptist Church's Missions Coordinators are Jeff and Becky Johnson. They keep in touch with many of our BMA missionaries via The Gleaner magazine, e-mail correspondence, and the newsletter updates the Missionaries send them. In these ways, they learn about current prayer and financial needs among our missionaries, which they then relay to the Church Body and the Women's Missionary Auxiliary (WMA) as upcoming projects.

WMA

The WMA is the Women’s Missionary Auxiliary. Who's purpose is to raise money to help support our Baptist Missionary Association missionaries. They also sponsor annual tea parties for our church ladies giving them opportunity to hear and share God’s Word and his blessings.
