Randy Burk

Pastor

Randy came to Temple in 1981 serving as associate missionary and stayed as pastor. Randy and his wife, Sandy, have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. Sandy is the church pianist and enjoys singing in the choir. Randy enjoys playing racquetball and for relaxation you will find him behind a camera.

Eric Engleman

Associate Pastor

Eric considers it a great privilege and pleasure to serve his brothers and sisters in Christ at Temple Baptist. Growing up on a family ranch in the mountains of the state of Washington, he became an avid outdoorsman and fisherman. He later became a Naval pilot and after that, flew as a commercial airline pilot. Having undertaken theological studies here in the United States and abroad, Eric finally moved to the High Desert where he has written three Christian-themed books and served in various capacities at Temple Baptist.

J.C . Escobar

AWANA commander

JC, along with his wife and two children, has attended Temple Baptist Church since 2013. Along with his duties as AWANA Commander, he also serves as a Deacon for the church. He enjoys working with the children in AWANA “and seeing the joy of the kids during club night, not to mention that we are helping them to learn God’s Word.” His favorite verse is John 15:1, “Because Jesus is the True Vine.” In his free time you might find him coaching his children’s soccer team…or even playing soccer himself to try and stay in shape!
